Our Child Protection Team and Medical staff are on-call 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. CPC serves residents from Sarasota and DeSoto counties. The Child Protection Center is not an overnight shelter.

History

The Child Protection Center, Inc. (CPC) was established in 1980. CPC initially provided only child abuse intervention services through the Child Protection Team (CPT).

Our Building

The Grand Opening of the Child Protection Center’s new facility – The Child Advocacy Center, dedicated to the memory of Shannon Nicole - took place on April 22, 2010.
