Kid Kindness Program: Our Counselors

Joy Striepe, MA, Registered MH Intern

Joy Striepe interned with the Kid Kindness Program in 2005 and was hired following the completion of her graduate program.  She holds a BS in Special Education from University of South Florida specializing in Emotional Behavioral Disorders.  Her MA is from Webster University in Counseling and additional certification in School Counseling.  With  20 years experience with Sarasota County Schools serving as a classroom teacher, ESE Liaison, and currently as a School Counselor she has understanding of children of all ages.  Ms. Striepe has a life long commitment to our community and a determination to help children realize their positive potentials in life.
