Every child's abuse experience is different, and it is the job of CPC's Clinical Therapy Team to meet children where they are in their journey towards healing. CPC has been providing clinical therapy for survivors of abuse since 1986. Our clinicians are focused on providing trauma-informed treatment that helps children resolve their trauma.
Therapy often looks a lot like play, art, or other child-friendly activities. All of CPC's therapists are clinically trained, and have focused their training on childhood trauma therapy. These distinctions set our services apart, and work to ensure all children have the best of care as they begin the road to hope & healing, from victim to survivor to one that thrives.
Within CPC's Therapy Programs the Sexual Abuse Treatment Program provides specialized trauma to children who have experienced sexual or physical abuse. The Kid Kindness Program provides specialized therapy to address sexual behavior problems. Both of these programs are provided free of charge to the client, as well as non-offending caregivers and siblings.
