Bringing sound fiduciary management and accountability, Suzanne Takerian has been the Chief Financial Officer of the Child Protection Center in Sarasota, Florida since July 2011. Suzanne, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Business Administration, is a CPA and Certified Internal Auditor. She brings 26 years of experience in public accounting, internal auditing, industry accounting, management and compliance to the position. With a focus on high standards of transparent accounting, reporting and management, Suzanne communicates confidence to donors and grantors that their financial support is funding the non-profit’s mission in the most meaningful and efficient way.

Suzanne also completed 240 hours of study and obtained her Funeral Services Associate Certification in September 2017, with the vision of helping family and friends plan for and deal with end-of-life issues. Suzanne is married, has two children and six grandchildren who live in Wisconsin. She enjoys walking, biking, and dining with friends. She spends her quiet time reading financial, geopolitical and health news and articles, and sharing the information with others when relevant.
