“Native Americans considered butterflies as symbols of transformation, hope and rebirth. I love these words because they embody what CPC does every single day.”
– Douglas Staley, Executive Director of CPC

A LOOK TO THE PAST!
Thanks to our INCREDIBLE COMMUNITY, our 2023 10th Anniversary Event of Blue Ties & Butterflies was a huge success. Thank you for allowing a survivors story to be shared, for filling the room with passion and purpose, and bringing transformational healing to child abuse victims. Year after year we are blown away by our community and can never say thank you enough. To reflect on a beautiful evening, please click below to watch out recap video!
The Child Protection Center’s signature event is a beautiful evening that local philanthropists and advocates look forward to year after year. Since the Inaugural Blue Ties and Butterflies in 2013, this event has raised momentous awareness and support to our mission by ending the silence and secrecy of child abuse in our community. We invite you to join us for this truly remarkable evening and see first-hand how your support brings transformational healing to abused children- much like the transformation of a butterfly!
Thank you to our 2023 Sponsors!
All proceeds of this event support the Child Protection Center and the Prevention, Intervention, and Treatment of Child Abuse. For those attendees who were physically or sexually abused or experienced other childhood traumas, the information shared may bring forth intense feelings connected to those events, as well as an awareness of how what may have happened so long ago impacts your life today. Please know that you are not alone – resources and support are available.
For sexual abuse – Call RAINN at 800-656-4673 or Darkness to Light at 866-FOR-LIGHT to have questions answered or chat with a trained crisis counselor, 24/7 at no charge. All conversations are confidential.
