Get to Know Evan Duke
Evan Duke, along with his wife and partner Pam, are the owners of Classic Creations in Diamonds & Gold in Venice, one of the highest customer rated jewelry stores in Florida. They share a passion for “giving back to the community that’s given us so much,” supporting numerous nonprofits and school programs with particular devotion to the Child Protection Center.
Evan was introduced to CPC through his 26 years of board service at the United Way, noting that,
“CPC deals with the worst of the worst, the things that no one wants to talk about and everyone tends to push under the rug. The truth is, this is reality for entirely too many kids in the world.”
Evan and Pam were integral in establishing the annual Night of Hope & Healing event and have continued introducing countless friends to the mission, serving on event committees and the Advisory Board, supporting through sponsorships, donating jewelry, watches, and trips to CPC’s auctions, as well as serving as Captains for CPC’s 40th Anniversary.
“While there are so many necessary services out there, we feel as though our support truly has an impact on the clients that CPC serves.”
Get to Know Bill Rhodes
Bill and his wife Ruth, Founders and Managing Partners of Payment Systems of Florida, are both passionate about Venice, their family, and making a difference.
Venice, Florida is where Bill grew up and graduated from high school. His family has been in the area since the 50’s, and he’s spent his time here cultivating relationships and creating positive change for generations to come. In addition to his involvement with Child Protection Center, Bill is an active member and past President of the Sertoma Club of Venice as well as a responsive participant with the Suncoast Foundation for Handicapped Children.
Those who know Bill know he’s enthusiastic for competition with a lengthy history in various competitive sports. Spending time with his wife and extended family is Bill’s priority outside of work.
