Get to Know Tish Murphy

Many of you may already know Tish Murphy as the Venice Market Manager of Seacoast Bank. She is heavily involved in the community of Venice, particularly through the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce, where she currently sits as Treasurer on the Board of Directors and has served on the committee for the much-lauded Empowering Woman of the Year event.

“Children are our precious resource and caretakers of the future. We must protect and support them always. As a grandmother of 7,  I can’t imagine a child in need and not doing all I could to help them.”

The former Mayor of Venice believes in making a difference in the community through active involvement.

John provides long-term, sustainable support to CPC and the prevention, intervention, and treatment of child abuse as a “Ripple of Hope” monthly donor and by sponsoring various events.

His dedication to the community and improving the lives of those in need extends even further: serving as the Chair of the Venice Housing Authority; on the Board of Directors for Together We Can, SAVE Venice, and the Venice Yacht Club; his involvement with the Sertoma Club of Venice; and his work with the Coalition of South County Food Pantries.
