Ways To Give
Together, we can make this an unprecedented time in our community – one in which the abuse of children is reduced or eliminated. As a not for profit organization, the Child Protection Center relies on the generosity of community members to fulfill our mission of Child Abuse: Prevention, Intervention and Treatment.
Your personal tax-deductible donation to our Circle of Hope Annual Giving will affect every area of the Child Protection Center in both small and large ways.
You will be highlighted in our monthly Eblasts, on our website donor recognition page and on our Circle of Hope donor wall displayed on the first floor of the new Child Advocacy Center.
There are numerous ways to make a gift that will benefit the Child Protection Center. Please consider the following:
What is an endowment fund?
An endowment fund is a permanent fund that acts like a savings account for the Child Protection Center. A percentage of the fund is available annually to meet the needs of our organization. The remainder of the earnings are reinvested to protect against inflation and to meet our changing needs in the future.
How will the endowment fund help?
The earnings from our endowment fund can be used to support our daily operations, provide special programs and services or serve as emergency funds.
None of us knows what the future holds, but we do know that right now, CPC plays an essential role in our community. Because our endowment is permanent, it ensures that future generations will have access to the same quality programs and services we provide today. Your contributions to this permanent funds can help us meet our mission for many lives to come.
Is my contribution tax deductible?
Absolutely. Trusts you establish or gifts you make during your lifetime generally qualify as charitable gifts for federal income tax purposes. In addition, bequests in your will or trust can lower or even eliminate your estate taxes. You may want to contact your professional advisor before making a gift.
CPC would like to send a very special and heartfelt THANK YOU
to all of the donors who have supported our
Pillar of Hope Capital Campaign to date.
In the perfect world, there would be no need for a Child Advocacy Center. But this is not a perfect world.
We still need your support. Through our Capital Campaign, there are naming opportunities that give you the incredible opportunity to have your name attached to an organization that has a 30 year history of helping child victims of abuse. Each selected Naming Opportunity will be honored with personalized signage and a place on our “one of a kind” Donor Wall that will be displayed in the main lobby.
Sponsor the Clinical Directors office, our Children’s Play Room OR the Parent and Professional Library; just to name a few. There are still available naming opportunities for you to consider. Please call (941)365-1277 and ask for the Development Department to discuss the best option for you.
