About the Child Protection Center

Now entering its 45th year, the Child Protection Center provides life-saving services for children who are victims of child abuse. Serving Sarasota and DeSoto Counties through our three locations (Sarasota, North Port, and Arcadia), our extensive programming brings education, intervention services, and trauma-informed care to heal the hearts of survivors in the pursuit of our mission: the prevention, intervention, and treatment of child abuse.

CPC is accredited by the National Children’s Alliance, has been previously named Nonprofit of the Year by both the Sarasota and Venice Chambers of Commerce, and is a Best of Florida Regional Winner of 2024.
