There are many ways to contribute your time, talents, and generosity to support the Child Protection Center and bring healing and safety to children who are vulnerable to child abuse.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Children and Families Supervised Visitation Program

Volunteer with the Children and Families Supervised Visitation Program (CFSVP). CFSVP provides a safe, neutral space for children to continue their relationship with a non-custodial parent. Volunteers make it possible for families to take those first steps of healing as they strengthen their relationships. To learn more about volunteer opportunities with this program, email CFSVP@cpcsarasota.org.

Butterfly Gardens

Combine your love of nature with CPC’s passion for intentional therapeutic spaces of healing. Participate in the maintenance and beautification of CPC’s Butterfly Gardens in North Port and Sarasota each month. Contact Sheila Miller, Vice President of Philanthropy, at SheilaM@cpcsarasota.org to learn more.

CPC Office Support

Participate in a variety of activities at CPC’s offices that support programming and operations. Duties vary each month based on the needs of the programs and operations. Tasks can include organizing therapy rooms, cleaning the playgrounds, clerical work, donor stewardship, event preparation, and more! Contact Sheila Miller, Vice President of Philanthropy, at SheilaM@cpcsarasota.org to learn more.

Events

Embrace the community with CPC’s Development Team at special events throughout each year that bring awareness to our work, educate the community on our impact, and raise critical program funds. Volunteers can join an event committee, help with pre-event tasks, assist with set-up or clean-up, or for various tasks during an event. Contact Sheila Miller, Vice President of Philanthropy, at SheilaM@cpcsarasota.org to learn more.

GATHERING FOR GOOD

Host a Gathering for Good with your circle of influence and help the Child Protection Center protect children from abuse and raise awareness of our mission. From the comfort of your own home, office, your favorite restaurant, or other location, you can be a hero for vulnerable children! Contact Sheila Miller, Vice President of Philanthropy, at SheilaM@cpcsarasota.org to schedule your gathering, set a fundraising goal, and make a difference. CPC is available for RSVP, invitation, and scheduling support. CPC printed materials will be provided as well as a speaker for your event from our programs.
